Here’s my thoughts: ditch Courtney and commit to JWO, Hentz, and/or Robinson as libero If Robinson is going to be the libero in Tokyo, you would probably have to have her playing libero in the VNLs, correct? Seems like you will get insight into whether that move happens pretty early on

Here's what I'd like to see -
OH: Robinson, Larson, MBH, Hill, Plummer, Thompson, Foecke, Kingdon-Rishel MB: Ogbogu, Washington, Akinradewo, Dixon, Tapp, Rettke, Butler OPP: Drews, Lowe, Cuttino S: Carlini, Poulter, Hancock, Hilley L: JWO, Hentz, White
Week 1 (Hosts-BRAZIL) vs. Dominican Republic, Canada & Brazil OH: Foecke, Kingdon-Rishel, Plummer, Robinson MB: Tapp, Rettke, Butler, Dixon OPP: Cuttino, Thompson S: Poulter, Hilley L: White, Hentz
Give a chance for the younger players to show what they have.
Week 2 (Hosts-SERBIA) vs. Netherlands, Thailand & Serbia & Week 3 (Hosts-GERMANY) vs. Italy, South Korea & Germany OH: Robinson, MBH, Plummer, Kingdon-Rishel MB: Akinradewo, Dixon, Rettke, Washington OPP: Lowe, Thompson S: Hancock, Poulter L: JWO, Hentz
Bring a mixture of youth and experience for weeks 2 & 3.
Week 4 (Hosts-U.S.A.) vs. Belgium, Japan & Turkey OH: Larson, Foecke, MBH, Hill MB: Ogbogu, Washington, Butler, Tapp OPP: Drews, Cuttino S: Hancock, Hilley L: JWO, White
Bring some newbies to get more court time, but also have plenty of experience waiting in the wings.
Week 5 (Hosts-CHINA) vs. Russia, Poland & China & Finals - Nanjing CHINA OH: Larson, Hill, MBH, Robinson MB: Ogbogu, Washington, Akinradewo, Rettke OPP: Drews, Thompson S: Carlini, Hancock L: JWO, Hentz
My Finals roster

I think she will be on there though I too think she should just be at OH going forward. I would like to see Robinson there a few times too.

I too think she will be on the roster, but I don't really think she has that much to offer. I debated for awhile between her and Kingdon-Rishel. I'd say they're about the same caliber at OH. Likewise, I think Adams will be on the roster in place of Tapp or Butler, but I'd like to see these 2.

With the exception of Carlini, Drews, Bartsch-Hackley and maybe Hancock, the rest have been relatively ineffective: Kingdon-Rishel, Courtney, Wilhite-Parsons, Benson, JWO, Tapp(s), Alhassan and Rolfzen. Also I do think Adams will be on the roster too. I didn't see you had omitted her as well. I think she not only has something to prove but is healthy now and could surprise everyone. I hope she makes it through her pro season in good form.

I think Simone lee deserved more of a chance The last tournament she played in the was the Norceca Champions Cup and she played at Opp and was very effective. I think that is where her future lies at USA volleyball. She likely won't make an elite roster at this point and time but we will see how long she sticks around.

Is everyone assuming Mary Lake will be pregnant, or did she not prove enough last summer?

Is everyone assuming Mary Lake will be pregnant, or did she not prove enough last summer? No she has already announced she was engaged and going to grad school. IMO if she was given more time with the team she would have been the front runner. She just played very limited games in the 2019 season.

I still think Simone Lee still has a future at OH if she wants to. Not saying passing can be learned overnight but she has 4 years to make it possible to reach the highest level.

I am simply arguing that they either haven't been given the chances or are simply being overlooked.
