So looking at the figures, the restaurant, travel and hospitality industries are some of the hardest hit during this pandemic. How long will it take for them to recover? The airlines got a bailout, but many cruise lines, hotels, lodges and restaurants do not. Eating out is still way down despite reopening in some states. Some try to adapt with a take-out only operation, but many restaurants can't rely on take-outs alone. Do they even have a future in the next 1-2 years?

Why would cruise lines EVER get a bailout? None of them are US businesses, you nitwit, and all their ships are of foreign registry.
Honestly, sometimes I wonder how someone as ignorant and sheltered as you ever makes it through life.

Honestly, sometimes I wonder how someone as ignorant and sheltered as you ever makes it through life. Ohhhh....I'm sorry, please point out where I said cruise lines should get a bailout? They are not "US" businesess? You seem to confuse ship registry with company operations. Look where Carnival Cruise lines operations is based? Miami. Is that in America? You really think just because it is legally registered in Panama means it is not a "US" business? One should not throw names when one has reading comprehension problems. Ignorant? You, like holiday, always have this habit of pot calling the kettle black. Trump supporters are some of the most ignorant folks I have met. But what can I say, you must have Daddy issues. I know it must suck not to have a parent figure. But hey, deal with it, life isn't always perfect. Grow-up. Name-calling isn't going to help you get through life. Hey, I know, I destroyed you on your Biden thread, now you are trying to return the favor? Too bad, face reality, Trump is going to lose this Nov and there is nothing you can do about it. P.S-Hey I am still waiting for you to meet up face-to-face and have a nice little "chat". What's the matter, you don't have the guts to do it, can you?

And what exactly is wrong with that? You are supporting an infamous troll on here. Are you really going to support someone who has zero contribution on this forum just because it caters to your political preference? I thought you were better than that.

In what way am I supporting them? You don't fight a troll by hurling insults yourself. You're doing exactly what they want you to do.

I can do this forever, can he?

Barriers to entry in the restaurant business are very low. They tend to pop up almost instantly as soon as the market can support them. Usually not the *same* restaurants, though.

Starting a restaurant is not that hard. But keeping it going is not always so easy. Being a chef can be a tough job after all. Long hours and very demanding customers. The moment food quality slips, diners can desert you. And especially in times like this.

I think we'll have a lot less restaurants over the next 6-12 months. Then, when we get a vaccine or herd immunity, people will be thrilled to go out again and smart investors will have new restaurants ready for them.

Yes I will take that as a compliment if that is what you mean. But as for how long he can keep replying to everyone of my post, you are mistaken. I can go on forever. Non-stop. Him? We'll see. I have my...doubts.

The guy has been on volleytalk forever, always operating under new names, always claiming to not be the same person, always accusing other people of doing what he is doing (that is, using multiple accounts). Unless he has an aneurysm or something, he probably will just keep doing the same thing he's always done.
