The guy has been on volleytalk forever, always operating under new names, always claiming to not be the same person, always accusing other people of doing what he is doing (that is, using multiple accounts). Unless he has an aneurysm or something, he probably will just keep doing the same thing he's always done. . This amuses me to no end. Bottom line, you’re getting a lot of your own medicine. For years you were all so miserable and nasty that you ran every conservative off the board. Now that you’re getting pushback, you guys just can’t handle it. Put your big boy pants on. |

It wasn't about his political views but the fact he just kept trolling on and on. Now back to topic, what is the occupancy rate of these hotels, resorts and inns I wonder? |

Perhaps we could have supported those businesses for more than a couple months. Bars, restaurants, and live music venues still need bailout money, especially as we're finding indoor dining/drinking establishments are some of the worst environments for covid spread.
We are well under 50% hotel capacity in my state and locally around 10% nightly. We could be providing hotel rooms as a safe place to isolate- other countries are doing it- and it'd be a boost to the hotel business when they really need it.
The fact we bailed out the airlines without securing an equity state was an unconscionable mistake (though entirely predictable). They vaporized billions and are still going to do mass layoffs.
The cruise lines can go pound sand. If they want support from the American people and our government, they can repatriate their assets and actually become American businesses. Plus, cruises suck.

Cruises! My favorite means of tourism travel. Been on over half a dozen — Mediterranean, Asia, Mexico, Alaska/Canada, East coast of USA/Canada.

I've only done two cruises but enjoyed them a lot. I plan on more in the future hopefully.
