POLISH LEAGUECHEMIK POLICE – RZESZOW 3-2 (23-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-16, 15-13)
Very important comeback victory for Police, against the league’s leader Rzeszow. Good debut for Olga Strantzali (18 pts and MVP award), soon in connection with Marlena Kowaleska’s quick setting. Jovana Brakocevic delivered as usual (26 pts). Solid blocking performance by Agnieszka Kakolewska (7 blk-pts). Kiera Van Ryk was Rzeszow’s best scorer (22 pts), followed by captain Jelena Blagojevic (15 pts). she transferred and played that quickly ? Omg

Gray has been playing pretty good recently (actually good this season in general). I hope she can train with NT this summer.

Janisa Johnson was playing for Radom in Poland (and was doing quite well) until she had to stop playing as of recent... It's been reported that she has been diagnosed with cancer (but in remaining in Poland to undergo treatment as the club's insurance is covering it. Thoughts going out to her https://www.instagram.com/p/CMfYsFDMn9b Her team's staff

I remember watching her in the Philippines and she definitely exceeded expectations despite standing at 5’8”. Even went on to win Finals MVP.
My thoughts are with Janisa and I hope her the best.

Chemik Police are into the finals in the Polish League while Rzeszow and LKS Lodz are tied 1-1 in the Semi's. I'm disappointed in Radom. I thought with Skorupa at the helm they would have finished stronger. Bad luck crossing Chemik in the semi's. Chemik had a weak start to the season for some reason. They played lights out in the Champions League and made it to the quarterfinals where they were dispatched by Vakifbank.

France’s season in particular is crazy long. Does anyone have any insight as to how Cannes is doing? Would love to hear about how Micaya White is developing. I saw some highlights of her team in December and she was ripping balls like when she was a freshman before the shoulder injury.

Her passing is okay... but when you're avg almost 5 points a set, then its fine

But yeah, she’s taken her offense with her to the next level pretty well from the stats. I wish I could watch her to see if her serve is still getting better.
