BYU lists home and away with San Diego back to back nights on its schedule, as does Pepperdine and LMU. Unbelievable. Play Friday at noon, both teams hold hands and fly to Provo together later in the day? Practice Fri night or Sat morning before doing it all over again Sat night? Insane. Now Pepp-LMU I have no beef. You can take public transit from LMU to Pepp and reverse and it’s not even that grueling. I'm guessing the BYU SID just took that release from the WCC (which includes schedules for men's and women's soccer as well) and uploaded it to the website. I still don't believe it'll go down that way. I think the coaches would flip a coin and play both matches at one location before doing that. Or they play on the Saturday they have off when everybody makes the switch from Tues/Wed to Fri/Sat.

My guess is that if given the option, the coaches wanted this because of how hard it is play twice at the same venue especially it being the top two teams in the conference

I noticed an interesting non-conference game scheduled: Virginia Commonwealth at James Madison - Mon Feb 22.
I think the small schools (or non P5) that actually have chances at getting at-large bids are going to schedule each other like this and make selections really interesting. Especially given that P5's are going conference only (from what I have heard, the B1G/PAC/SEC are not allowing OOC, ACC TBA. Big 12 most likely a go) (Think: Dayton, VCU, Stephen F. Austin, UCF, etc.)
JMU and VCU have been T50 RPI teams in recent history.

JMU vs VCU is cheaper than VCU vs Rhode Island and James Madison vs Northeastern. I’m not sure those coaches think they have any realistic shot at an at large this year.

ANyone think fans will be allowed? For basketball, Illinois, Purdue, Iowa and Penn State are the only Big Ten schools I’ve seen list attendance numbers greater than 0. Although it just might be that other schools aren’t reporting numbers. Iowa is letting close to 500 in. The others are under 200. Meanwhile, Texas, Florida and Florida State are allowing over 2,000 fans.
