What's the breakdown looking like for the remaining 3 MAC tournament seeds? Kent State looks close to clinching a birth, but I worry about their ability to take down WMU who looks pretty solid and they always seem to choke against Ohio. NIU looks hot and cold so if Kent gets them on a good night, it could be trouble.
How are the other two possibilities looking like? WMU and maybe CMU? Does Ohio qualify with only playing half of their matches? Too soon to tell?

CMU/EMU/Miami/NIU/Ohio/Ball State are all competing. NIU with a bad loss today didn't help their chances. My money is on Ohio emerging but its still very much up in the air.

CMU with a huge reverse sweep in Toledo to move to 9-7 and temporarily in the tournament 4 slot. Omg. Toledo was up 2-0 and like 13-6 in the 3rd set when I quit looking. Wowza

Michigan MAC Update - Week 8
Western Michigan's win streak reached 6 with a sweep of Akron this weekend, dropping only one set in the series. Rachel Bontrager hit yet another milestone in her impressive career, becoming just the third Bronco in school history to record 1,500 kills. Western is in great position with 6 games to go before the tourney.
On Saturday, CMU was left for dead down 0-2 and 7-13 in set 3 against Toledo. All of a sudden the Chips found their groove and battled to take the match in 5 and complete a series sweep over the Rockets. Central is currently in the 4 spot, but there is plenty of Maction ahead.
Eastern Michigan rode the bus down to Bowling Green with high hopes of putting a dent in the formidable armor of the undefeated, league leading Falcons. BG wasn't having any of that, toying with the Eagles in two straight set sweeps. Despite the double loss Eastern remains in the race for the tournament, but they are going to have to get hot really quick.
Split schedules this week in the MAC with matches getting played Tuesday/Friday/Saturday. Teams fighting to get their shot in the tourney should make for some compelling volleyball in the finishing weeks.
