From the link.... Volleyball
To compete in 22 Conference matches in a double round robin format over a 10-week period between January 22nd and March 27th
Teams will face the same opponent twice in one weekend at one site.
Travel partners will play midweek the two weeks following the MAC Basketball Tournament.
Matches will take place on Thursday/Friday
A four team Championship will take place on Friday, April 2nd and Saturday, April 3rd at the site of the highest seed (best overall conference record) to determine the Conference automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.

That’s a LOT of missed class. Is there any team, any sport, any campus whose athletes are sitting in a face-to-face lecture setting? Online bubbles are today's standard, so they can get their work done. This doesn't mean, tune in to a zoom class with the rest of class. Instead, their assignments are posted, they read materials, study, submit online. Not ideal by any stretch. (So tough to be an SA today!)

And there will be many more in the spring semester.

So really missing 5 weeks of class as they will be home 5 weeks of class. They miss way more than that over a regular season. Not a big believer in that their will be more in person class in January, February, March than there was in August, September, and October.

Virtual isn't the best way to learn, but it does cut down on exposure.

How will the preseason coaches poll rank the teams?
Who will make the preseason first team all-MAC squad? Second?

There are only a handful of states where you can legally put 200 people in a room and schools like UF supposedly aren’t doing it. What schools do we know are conducting in person lectures?

2019 recap. Standings: getsomemaction.com/standings.aspx?path=wvballThe Redhawks won the "regular season" Mac Title at 12-4. Ball State and Central were co-champs of the West division at 11-5, with Ball State winning the Mac Tournament and securing the NCAA Auto-bid. Toledo finished in last place at 2-14. Now that Zoe B is officially out of eligibility, and with few/no opportunities to schedule Ws out of conference, they might just wind up winless.
