"Starring" the former Viking and Heisman winner Ed Marinaro. Heisman runner up, I think, from noted football powerhouse Cornell.

I was *just* a little too young to be into Hill Street Blues when it first debuted, but I remember trying to get into it a few years later. It was kind of a hard show to start watching part-way through the run.
I mainly remember the undercover cop who always dressed like a homeless person, and the two beat cops (black guy and white guy) who seemed to be major characters.
(Belker, Hill and Renko)
IIRC: Howard Hunter was the guy who always wanted to turn everything into a SWAT/paramilitary action. Furillo was more into community policing.

Yes, that is Travanti.
What I most remember is how often the show ended on a really emotional note.

All answered. vbprisoner had 5 right, too. Yes, Ann Boleyn. Ann of the Thousand Days. Malala is not "a teenage Indian girl". Someone answered Chuck Berry which wasn't right, but the strange thing about that answer is that he died 58 years AFTER that plane crash, that he was married for 68 years, and his wife (Themetta “Toddy” Suggs) is still alive.

"Starring" the former Viking and Heisman winner Ed Marinaro. Also starring Michael Warren, 3 year starter for UCLA and 2 time national champion (with Alcindor), plus an all tournament team and an all American.

5 is Texas. 1. Today is January 15. On this day in 1559, Queen Elizabeth I was crowned. Her father was Henry VIII. Who was her mother? 2. MLK, born January 15, was the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize when it was awarded in 1964. Who holds that distinction now? 3. On this day in 2009, Sully Sullenberger performed "The Miracle in the Hudson." What type of plane was it? 4. On this day in 1972, "American Pie" hit #1 on the Billboard charts. In the song, who were the 3 musicians killed on "the day the music died"? 5. On this day in 1831, Victor Hugo finished "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." What was this book's (original) title (in French)? 1. Was it Anne Bolyn? I know I knew this once. 2. Malala Yousafzai (and yes, I looked up the spelling) 3. A320 4. Big Bopper, Richie Valens, Buddy Holly 5. These were the correct answers plus Notre Dame de Paris. Others answered before mike but he collected them together. No one had all 5 in one message, I believe.
