He's not been great with names today. P sure back-row Maddie has her name pronounced Skimmer-horn (at least that's how they did it all last season when we could go) and he's had it wrong every time, although I think he knows he's doing it wrong and tries to catch himself.
Given what's happened several times the last few seasons to Purdue players, my first assumption with a player having to leave is that it's concussion-related. Odd to say but if McGraw has the flu, that would be better, I think. Doesn't take too many concussions to end someone's career.
A bit surprised at how Minnesota's played today, but two matches on the road will do that, and Purdue really is a different team at 100% this year. (I think Newton looks as close to 100% as she's been in 2020-21.) Boilers need to wrap this up because Minnesota may not be playing well, but I'd rather not see them in another fifth set today.
