If Blossom and Hampton are back, this is a competitive match. I think ACF showed this past weekend that she is a threat from the left and if it's Blossom setting, I think you will see her and Parker getting a lot more one-on-one block looks. If Hampton is back, it likely puts Bilinovic as the DS for the 2nd outside (not ACF) which really changes the back court for PSU. Also, Clark may be the second outside if she is back. We could see a VERY different PSU team if those players are available. Minnesota has some question marks. CC's first match was terrible and didn't play the second. If she is not in top form, Minnesota will struggle like they did against Purdue. Also, the production out of Minneosta's middles has been lackluster. They will need to figure that out in order to be a legit contender. With or without Blossom and Hampton this is a competitive match.

Wow I knew our record against them was lopsided but only 12 wins? I guess we haven’t won two matches in a row against Penn State since 2000. Hope to see us win this series for our first three wins in a row!

CC came up in the volleyball podcast, but the question we all want asked was not asked. Maybe because it wouldn't have been answered?
No idea where Bayley was either.

McCutcheon doesn't give up information on players. We won't know until they warm up whether CC will play or not.

Maybe not even then.

Here is a comparison of both team's middles so far this season. Gray 11-6-34 (kills-errors-attemps) Hord 21-5-4132-11-75 through 9 sets or 3.56 k/s .280 Pittman 34-9-72 Myers 13-4-35 Rubright 11-1-1958-14-126 through 22 sets or 2.64 k/s .349 is Minnie doing a 3 MB rotation? Or is this just posting stats of MBs who have played? If it is, shouldn't you consider picking the two starters for a stat comparison w/your opponent which only has 2 starters? It just looks like someone is trying to pad the #'s to present a more fairer view.

Now you got me thinking there might be a way to pad the stat that counts most: win vs loss. Anyway looking forward to 2 good MN vs PSU matches this weekend. Should be fun for us fans.

Should be fun for us fans. for Penn St he gave just the 2 starting MB ...for Minnie he gives 3 MB stats...assuming Myers is the starter over Rubright, Rubright's inclusion boosts the total since her hit% is .526 compared to Pittman's .347 & Myers' .257 Pittman + Myer= 47-13-107-.318% @2.14K/s

Rubright came in as a sub for Meyers so MN only had 2 MBs playing at a time and you have to include her stats for comparison. If you don't include Rubright's stats then MN would have been playing some of those sets with only one MB. Also, stats don't tell the whole story anyway as there are so many intangibles to any match. Look forward to this weekend and glad both matches are on BTN.
