It’s hard to gauge with no non con but they’re a level above everyone else in the MW. Plus if Minnesota isn’t healthy (McGraw, Rollins, Shaffmaster?) I’m not placing any bets for them to win

Great work. Since I haven't been following this year, this is even more useful to me.
Can you provide a conference breakdown? I am good if you don't want to, but I am so far out of the loop...
Are they using RPI (I am assuming they will not). What is the criteria for At-Large. I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere.
Thx.

FIRST 4 OUT: Missouri, Kansas State, Houston, Tennessee NEXT 4 OUT: Marquette, Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado,
With all the discussion about 48 vs. 64 teams, was just wondering trojansc if you had a Next 8 out. IOW, which other teams will be home due to the reduction to 48 teams?

Possibilities: Texas A&M, South Carolina, Southern California, Michigan, West Virginia, North Carolina, Southern Methodist, Syracuse. None of those teams really should have a 'gripe' about not making the tournament, though (the real) USC and Michigan have had pretty unfortunate paths/situations.

Keep in mind there would also be Ivy and Big West teams included in a regular year. So it's probably only like four additional teams.

I'd include Illinois in that group with USC and Michigan as well. They are undefeated against teams that aren't going to make the tournament but have had to play all of the top Big Ten teams. I even wonder if they enter the conversation with a 2-0 weekend against Purdue. No bad losses, and two wins against a top 20 team? I REALLY struggled to find 25 teams worthy of my Top 25 ballot this week...

They could enter the discussion, but I don't think it's going to happen. 10 cracks at teams that would given them a chance to go to the tournament, and Illinois came up 0-10 vs. Top B1G. That doesn't mean Illinois wouldn't have won OOC matches against Marquette, Creighton, UCF, Pepperdine, etc. who could have bolstered their resume. USC is only slightly better at 1-7 vs. Top PAC, but did have an important home series cancelled vs. Wazzu, though it could have easily been 1-9 and again, only a hair better than the Illini. The sympathy was referring to unfortunate COVID/injury situations more than anything.

Also, I'm seeing that the Regional Semifinals/Finals will be on ESPNU.
ESPN3 looks like it will broadcast the First/2nd rounds, which is good news. *praying for quality streams for ALL courts*
