I nominate South Dakota and Missouri for the 1st one. Quite a few people have already picked South Dakota to win, and Mizzou has something to prove in the tournament. It's also at 12pm ET on Wednesday with the first set of matches. Also, I haven't heard anyone call it yet, but with how bad Notre Dame looked in parts of the Spring... maybe Army has a chance? I agree on both points. Heavy-hitting pin matchup: Deberg vs. Juhnke. This is also my opportunity to get in an obligatory mention of Army’s RPI. In the Summit's Conf. tournament, Slaughter went 21K/7E/51/.275 & 20K/3E/47/.362 along with Juhnke's 20+ kills/match. Having said that, SD's receiving game will dictate their chances at success more than their ability to limit Deberg, IMHO. |

Western Kentucky over Kentucky. I really want both teams to go far but I think the second WKU outsides is too weak for them to beat UK. Also Skinner and Stumler will have a field day hitting over Dioundine (sp) don't you have Kentucky the favorite over everyone who would face them? |

Do I think the Kentucky is the “favorite” to win the whole thing? Maybe. I think they CAN beat anyone in the field and I definitely think they are the favorite over WKU. . They are the number 2 seed though so it’s not like my thoughts are outlandish. |

OP: give me your highly suspect opinions for who is going to be a surprise or who gets upset Poster1: my opinion you(replying to poster1): your opinion is wrong, my opinion is right me(thinking about your post) pondering why you didn't just respond to the OP and let Poster1 go unbothered for posting their opinion?: Isn't your position all along been UK is superior to everyone else?(so therefore not an upset or a surprise and an already understood of your position) You're just being silly.
