I wonder if WSU will be flying via Seattle. If so.... I said originally that to be fair, Nebraska should have to fly to Omaha with a layover at SEATAC. I wonder if John Cook would have any flashbacks.

Amid all the plane pics, here's Creighton's flight plan. Ok, so Creighton could walk into the bubble, but who is traveling the farthest distance? Hawaii? (Sorry, that was just cruel)

From Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport, your only scheduled flight option is to fly to Seattle.
However, from Pullman a team can also ride a bus to Spokane, where you have more scheduled choices (and also a bigger field, which would allow more choices for charter flights, too).

I never realized how "out there" Pullman was before. or how close they were to the U of Idaho

Not so bad for the Huskies, but every other team has to choose whether to fly through Seattle, fly through Spokane and take a bus, or perhaps even fly through Seattle to Spokane and *then* take a bus. (Or, I guess, get a charter flight directly to Pullman-Moscow.) If it's a combined road trip with UW it might be reasonable to take a bus between the two schools. I think that's what the Huskies and Cougars usually do, but I'm not 100% certain. In the winter that bus ride can get quite unreliable due to it crossing a mountain pass (and then generally dealing with winter weather in Eastern WA).

Winter-ish trips to Pullman should definitely be done by flying to Spokane or Lewiston and driving the rest of the way. I-90 over the Cascades often has to close for a day or two due to Avalanche danger, and they won't let you across Snoqualmie pass without chains. The tiny Moscow-Pullman airport (two "gates", no jetways) is in a valley, has no ILS, and often gets fogged in, so your odds of landing and taking off there on any particular schedule can be very dicey. (My sister used to live north of Moscow ...)

Regarding how exciting Omaha is, if anyone should know, it would be the Creighton Bluejays.

I hope they do the national anthem first thing before all the matches and some girl from some team sings it each day. But you don't know who it is because she is one half a mile away. But then you figure it out because it's that one girl with her three supportive teammates who go sprinting and laughing by to make it to their court on time.

I don't live in LA, but since Google says "with usual traffic" it's 20 minutes, I'm going to guess "no".
