If you throw Baylor in there it could be the toughest bracket in the tournament. As far as calling them the most successful teams it would depend on what you call "modern" UCLA, Long Beach State, USC and Hawai'i would all have more national championships than Texas all-time. this last decade 2010-20. Unquestionably the top three teams alongside Stanford (unless I'm forgetting someone). Only UCLA with 1 NC in 2011, but Texas would get the edge with more final four appearances.

I feel like Penn State/Texas/Nebraska all being in the same regional isn’t getting enough action. I mean, if this were any other year, this would be a pretty big deal. These are 3 of the 4 most successful programs in modern collegiate vb. If you throw Baylor in there it could be the toughest bracket in the tournament. As far as calling them the most successful teams it would depend on what you call "modern" UCLA, Long Beach State, USC and Hawai'i would all have more national championships than Texas all-time. I'm all about the west coast appreciation, but we are now in the the 3rd decade of the 21st century. These days, LBSU struggles to even make the tournament and Hawaii last won the tournament in 1987..... lets call a spade a spade.

Girl, the success of the Texas program over the last decade is in an entire tier (or two) over UCLA.

Not trying to start a debate about whether or not people should wear masks. Do we know if the Pac-12 mask mandate will continue to be enforced for its teams within the championship bubble/if teams like Minnesota or Wisconsin that were wearing them full-time will be doing so? I could be wrong, but I think the Pac-12 mask mandate was so schools could test less frequently. Everybody is getting tested daily in Omaha (like basketball teams did all season). The PAC-12 rule was because they evaluated the various sports for risk with and without masks. Some were considered low risk regardless. Some were considered high risk regardless. For volleyball, they concluded that without masks it was high risk, but with masks it would be medium risk. Since they concluded that masks changed the risk level for volleyball, they ruled masks had to be used.

Let’s get some hot takes in here. Upset picks, surprise teams, first top four seed to exit, anything. Louisville pulls another upset but this time over Washington?

I see UNLV giving Kentucky one heck of a fight. Especially with their big server (Hayden? something like that). But I think Kentucky wins. And I think Rice beats Penn State. Maybe the second one isn't a hot take.

Do we think Creighton can beat Florida? If they can serve tough enough I think they got a shot.

I'm presuming they beat Morehead State, but if they don't the point is moot. Any of the things I'm predicting assume the teams advance to face each other.

(Not their seed just the way people have been taking about them. The 8 seed is fine) when Florida plays well they are an incredibly tough out and they are trending upwards.

I mean...I wasn't that impressed when I watched them play Kentucky but they clearly have so much talent. Hopefully they're better than I give them credit for, especially with their passing. Would love to see Hall finally start really churning in the tournament...I do think the extra passing pressure this season is part of her struggles. She's more of the passing OH now because she doesn't have Paige Hammons on court to support her, hope she really gets rolling.
