Still can’t believe Samedy hit out at 10-12 in the fifth. She’s been so clutch under pressure her entire career.

BTW, I was sadly crushed by Oregon (#2 PAC) losing to Purdue (#5 B1G). I still don't think the "eye test" should have been used to seed so many B1G teams so high in the tournament, but the play from the PAC teams didn't back me up on this.
(Pitt did, however.)

Well, they can't really do that because it's literally in their rules that they would make an accommodation. It's in their rules that they will make an accommodation if it is convenient/possible, but they are allowed not to.Anyway, there was nothing preventing them from moving the other match, was there? No, this is what the rule (9.1) says: Institutional Policy. If a participating institution has a written policy against competition on a particular day for religious reasons, it shall inform the NCAA national office on or before September 1 of each academic year in order for it or one of its student-athletes to be excused from competing on that day. The championship schedule shall be adjusted to accommodate that institution. (emphasis mine); (Adopted: 4/22/98, Revised: 8/11/98, 10/28/99, 5/2/13) At any rate, no, I don't think there was anything stopping them from moving one or more of the other matches to Saturday. If they had done that, then maybe we wouldn't be looking at the a match between Kentucky and Western Kentucky that will start after 10:30 PM ET.

Playing the whole Sweet 16 in one day was dumb anyway. They should have spread it out over two days (and also done the Elite Eight over two days) like they have in every other year. ?? Um, most years they play all the regions on the same days.

Um, most years they play all the regions on the same days. I stand corrected. I guess I was thinking of basketball.

The Final Four could very possibly have the Big 12 Champ, SEC Champ, B1G 10 Champ, and PAC-12 Champ. They are all (at least seed wise) the favorites tomorrow in the Regional Finals.

Jerritt Elliott said in his media availability that they are playing on the stadium court. Only 45 minutes of practice time on it too.

Interesting question: believe same as today because no practice time in arena so guessing they stay here till next round I believe the sweet 16 teams got to practice in the arena two days ago. Maybe because there aren't any days off between S16 and Elite 8 they opened the arena to the teams for practice? not sure, we'll see tmr I guess
