? You cited Creighton losing to a 7 seed Minnesota on the Gophers' home court as being a reason for Minnesota getting an easier path to the final four. I simply pointed out that 2nd seed Texas losing to unseeded Louisville played a pretty big role in that as well. Since you mention everything being relative, I think you can understand that Texas losing was a massive upset and Creighton losing was....not. So in terms of darn look who screwed up, that was my response. I'm well aware of why that regions path to the final four broke down, I'm just saying that it would have been nice for Creighton to have beaten Minny...they swung for match point. Well alrighty then. On that, we agree.

Lol Creighton almost swept by morhead state. Someone told me they thought Creighton would beat Florida. Yikes you have a very strange definition of "almost swept", considering Creighton won the first set and dominated the 4th set, while MSU won 3 deuce sets.

TIL that outscoring your opponent by 8 points is "almost getting swept".

That set was essentially even through the 21-21 tie (MSU never led by more than 1, CU led by 2-3 points a few times), then Creighton pulled away at the end for the win. I certainly wouldn't call that "almost losing"

BYE CREIGHTON! The Big East was SOOOO bad this year. They had improvements from Xavier, Providence, DePaul. But their top teams were yes, all down. BE was very much down this year. The teams that did improve really had no where to go but up. Was happy for Providence though but sad they had to drop from the BE tourney.

Creighton looked horrible. Watching them jump was excruciating as I don't think most cleared 12" and was either late or early more times than on time. The entire team looked gassed from the start. Also, review looks like it is a lost cause...in the South Dakota match, the ref couldn't figure out how to operate the review equipment & the Tech sitting right there was just as clueless. Cost SDU a point that was clearly out and needed the call overturned but frustration led the ref to give up on trying and just stuck with the original call...horrible.

Creighton looked horrible. ... The entire team looked gassed from the start. exhausted from the long travel That's funny! I don't care who you are, that is funny right there. But, seriously...didn't it appear like they were all jumping with 10lbs of weights strapped to their ankles? Not just in the blocking either, their attacking was barely off the ground. With their height advantage, they should have been hitting over the top of the block and down into the seams of the back court coverage. The whole team just looked like they just got off the plane from some far away Asian city suffering from jet lag and lack of rest. It was sad, and if I was KBB, I would institute a major strength & conditioning regimen from now til next season, and get that team in shape.

I blame the Nebraska Taraflex floor. Obviously John Cook has imbued it with some sort of voodoo hex to hinder the Blue Jays.

I'm a little surprised no one mentioned that the Morehead State Head Coach is also the Athletic Director, so a tip of the cap to Gordan and HIS STAFF, who I'm certain carry a heavy load.
