Do we think Cooney is playing 6 rotation again? Who will be MB2? Is Hinton hurt bc I don't recall seeing her in any of the practice vids/pics.

Looks like they are using Mosher as an OH in some of the clips. That's exciting I honestly think she could be a terminal OH for us as well Good to see both Whittington and Gregus in the video practicing at full speed. Since they sat out last season we didn't really know what their status would be for the fall. Whittington was in the middle for the Bingham swing and Gregus was in the back row for a different play. Definitely bummed that the Orange and Blue scrimmage isn't listed on the schedule as it was in years past but psyched that they're hosting the Big Ten/Pac 12 Challenge soon- we won't have to wait too long to see them at Huff. |

Seen in the NORCECA Thread. Kid Block (Ali B.) is in Anaheim on the training team. Would love to see her rep the USA Jersey. Great seeing former Illini on Team USA.

Illinois may very well be the dark horse this year in the B1G race and in the upcoming polls. They finished strong last year with a really impressive 5-set win over Purdue and had 5-set losses against Penn State, Minnesota, and Ohio State. If they can avoid the injuries that plagued them early last year they could be a factor. In any event I believe they are underrated. We should find out quickly what their correct ranking should be, since they'll be playing #4 Washington and Colorado in week 2. |

Received an email from UIUC ticket office indicating that masks will be mandatory for fans in Huff for home volleyball games this fall. With the return to 100% capacity attendance and a potential few thousand cheering fans, I'm certainly glad to see this. I'm still nervous about being shoulder to shoulder with the masses but this softens it a bit.

They just posted some additional details and it's cool that folks can pay to join the Networkers (or renew membership) at the door and attend the scrimmage.
