Texas State is weird. In its last 5 matches, it won the toughest, but lost the easiest.
They beat Baylor in Waco, beat Houston in Houston, beat Utah Valley and North Texas. UNT is decent -- gave WKU a push in the C-USA tournament.
But.. they lost at home.. to T C U!!!!!

Nebraska is appearing in their 39th straight NCAA tournament, only missing the first in 1981. The Cornhuskers are 375-161 (.700) in sets played, 3rd highest winning percentage in history. They have finished in the Sweet Sixteen 6 times, the Elite Eight 14 times, the Final Four 6 times, and tournament Runner Up 4 times. Nebraska's 5 NCAA titles came in: 1995, beating Texas 3-1; 2000, beating Wisconsin 3-2; 2006, beating Stanford 3-1; 2015 beating Texas 3-0; and 2017, beating Florida 3-1. Should have appeared in the tournament in 1981 also, not sure what the hell happened there. Was Nebraska in the AIAW championship tournament in 81. Texas won the AIAW championship that year. I believe that was the last year of the AIAW and all programs played in the NCAA starting in 82.

With almost three since their last match the Huskers won't have much time to get into the playing form they had towards the end of the regular season, or it might be a trap game.

I meant for the Texas State-TCU match. Should've been more clear.

Should have appeared in the tournament in 1981 also, not sure what the hell happened there. There were only 20 teams in the first tournament, but would think the Big 8 champ would have been in. Maybe they were still in the AIAW side of things in 81, though they didn't take part in that tournament either.
