I foresee many Sun swing blocks on Fitzgerald in the imminent future. Fitzgerald’s gonna have to find some success against her if Texas State wants a chance imo. But we shall see.

Nebraska is appearing in their 39th straight NCAA tournament, only missing the first in 1981. The Cornhuskers are 375-161 (.700) in sets played, 3rd highest winning percentage in history. They have finished in the Sweet Sixteen 6 times, the Elite Eight 14 times, the Final Four 6 times, and tournament Runner Up 4 times.
Nebraska's 5 NCAA titles came in: 1995, beating Texas 3-1; 2000, beating Wisconsin 3-2; 2006, beating Stanford 3-1; 2015 beating Texas 3-0; and 2017, beating Florida 3-1.

Should have appeared in the tournament in 1981 also, not sure what the hell happened there.

I hope Sun comes out hot, Stivrins is sliding, and Caffey is caffeinated tomorrow. Throw in some Akana aces and digs, some Kubik kills, the usual great Hames sets, and the Kenzie flying horizontal ups and we will see what happens. Maybe a fired up reaction or two from Jalen as well. GBR!

I think Texas state takes a set but I don’t really see them winning. Nebraska would have to play poorly and Texas state especially well.
