Well, San Diego did their best. After all of their COVID stops and injuries, and potentially not making the tournament, I think they gave it their all. It seems like Fayad and Wiblin won't be coming back (I think Wiblin wants to go pro) so they are going to need the rest of their players to be healthy and improved by the time Fall 2021 rolls around. They have a good incoming class as well so I'm looking forward to their future! Congrats to Louisville! USD needs to locate some offensive MB's pronto. That was always their recipe for success. and some MB's that can block.

There are no senior MBs (May wasn't honored at Senior night so I don't know if she's coming back) and there is an incoming freshman MB as well, which mean they should have 4-5 on the roster.

Seriously? USD was up in the 2nd before fading and had a set point in the 4th against a team that is ranked in the top 15, advanced to the elite 8 last year, and got to play a fall and spring season this year, and USD did it with aline-up that strictly speaking has only been on the court together for 3 games. Geez. See you next fall.

Lots of people would like to know what pieces they have to improve on this next year, after losing Wiblin and Fayad, who were the majority of their offense all season.

Yeah, I couldn't watch the games, so I'm getting all of my info from the thread and apparently USD can't pass, setting sucks, Middle Blockers can't score or block, and Fayad is sulky or something, blah, blah, blah. All of which I've probably said at one time or another myself (except for the bit about Fayad). All I'm saying is that, "sure they could use a little of this and a little of that," but who doesn't need to improve a little here and there. To read this thread, the sky is falling and USD needs to clean house - and based on what? This sh!# show of a season? I'll reserve other comments about USDs future for the WCC thread.
