What’s weird is there are so many teams where I’m anxious to see if they’re legit or not, but having said that I won’t be surprised by any outcome given how insane this season has been and how bizarre this tournament will be. I wouldn’t begin to predict an outcome in this match.

I will take Cards in 4. I don't doubt DBK has got the team prepared for this match, and I think their big block gives SD some trouble.

Louisville is appearing in their 29th tournament and are 74-98 (.430) in sets played. The Cardinals have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen 4 times (1996,1998,2004,2005) and reached the Elite Eight in 2019, losing to Minnesota 3-0 in the Texas Regional final.

Louisville's resumé looks pretty decent. They haven't lost since October, with wins over FSU (ACC #5), Georgia Tech (ACC #6), and North Carolina (ACC #7), and then split with Pitt back in the fall.
Go Cards! 👍

Go Cards! 👍 It's going to be a fun matchup. San Diego's powerful offense vs Louisville's big block. Aiko Jones may be the X-Factor. She's not had a "great" year or what we may have been expecting.
