Not a bad gig. Fall Semester with the Gophers and then right to the pros. She ain't making the National Team in 2021. "Right to the pros" in January? If she wants to go right to the pros, she won't be back. He’s saying she’d do the fall season then start with a pro team right after in January after their holiday break. It’s a very common thing for high profile NCAA seniors to do.

Yes, they play in PR for a few months after their senior season and earn a small amount of money. This is a different situation. The earning potential for Samedy in 2021/22 is significantly higher if she signs with a team for a full season. If going "right to the pros" is the goal, she won't be back.

Landfair has a good serve. I agree, she’s a defensive liability but her serve is too good not to use. Huh. Really? None of our servers have a "good" serve, to me. They all kinda loft the ball over, to me.
Maybe I'm used to men's serves.

I’m not even sure what is happening with the timing of the Puerto Rican league right now, but it’s very common for Italian or Turkish league teams to pick up reinforcements mid season to replace struggling international players. You’re misunderstanding what Ruffda meant by “right to the pros”, all he’s saying is that she won’t have to wait until fall 2022 to start making money, which is true.

Mine is simple; Samedy will make more money (and have better opportunities) playing the full year than playing half of it.

I can't speak for Steph (she fired me), but she can do whatever she wants. It's a good situation if she wants to play another season with the Gophs.

Landfair is an exception. She hits it. Low and fast.
