It was a shame to have Ahrens in the back row down the stretch for Pepperdine. Scully seemed a bit tentative, Brown suddenly looked like a flustered freshman, and there were so many broken plays.
Kudos to Baylor for pulling it together when it mattered in the fourth and fifth sets.

So I only was able to tune in for the fifth set. The announcer Was almost immediately muted. Did they say if Vandermark is out for the entire tournament?

is vandemark done for the season? She should be back next match. She was standing on the sideline without a boot which was a good sign. |

Baylor block came on strong in the end. Pepperdine was very good but just couldn't minimise errors in the end.
