LSU Beach Has to OptOut of This Weekend

LSU has to pull out of the Gulf Shores event this weekend. Unfortunate for TCU as they had nothing to lose and everything to gain in playing LSU. I’m glad for the Tigers that is is occurring this weekend & not during conference or NCAAs, but still unfortunate to see. Hopefully there won’t be any ongoing issues and this will be the only cancellation.

This is really too bad. Hopefully the timing won't affect next weekend, although as we saw with FAU, one week isn't always enough. At least FAU's team was able to continue, even if short players. UAB is back in action this weekend after standing down for a week, although it appears they are also running out some little used players in the lineup.

So LSU didn't have 6 "physically able" players available on their roster to compete this weekend? According to NCAA players that are within 90 days of a positive covid and/or 2 weeks post-vaccination do not have to quarantine if/when exposed. Unless LSU has different in-house rules...
