After those first two sets I thought this would be a walk over. Good on the Ducks for making it really competitive. Good on the Boilers for righting the ship.

Was Williams not available for Oregon? The Oregon outsides almost combined for .000. Why not at least get Williams in?
I do think Oregon is a better team with Brooke at Libero and Williams playing. Also subbing Borup out back row might help the team (if she stay for fall season). She does not get a ton of kills back there and is a liability on serve receive.

If you think Borup passed well this match you don’t know what you are talking about. She passed many critical moment ball about 4 feet high and straight up. Oregon has two outsides who combined to hit negative yet Williams never got in. Borup might pass well in the Pac 12 but against the Big 10 #5 team she did not look good. Go watch the replay. |

And she has dramatically improved since last year. |
