I'm still shocked Duan Fang is there. She was literally chilling at home and woke up one morning to see that not only was she called for the NT, but has to fly to Italy and participate in VNL for 5 weeks. Wang Yizhu was already at the base training, but I guess Lang Ping not inviting her is putting an emphasis that she needs to work on her passing. She's still young so she'll have more opportunities next cycle.

According to that site, Italy will actually fly direct to LAX starting in July. Some other European-LAX routes will be cancelled. I imagine a ton of changes will probably come to travel internationally in the coming times. I can’t imagine who would? Too many flights go through LHR, CDG and Frankfort these days by design. That said, Alitalia is the Italian airline but they offer a pretty weak product and even the Italian government has recently dumped them for another Italian airline to be the national flagship airline. I supposed AA may do a flight to FCO. Alitalia has long been mired in mismanagement, executing poor strategies and suffering from excessive cost. I'm surprised its still around (after numerous bailouts and take overs by the government).

Honestly, the airline mirrors the Italian governments level of mismanagement, scams, bribery, and run like a mafia like state. Italy, the land of scammers!

I think Alitalia is an airline that has been furnacing cash for years, is poorly situated in Italy which is not exactly the commerce hub that Frankfurt, London, Paris, Amsteram, etc. are. They were losing cash well before COVID. When you would rather fly American or United to Europe than Alitalia, you know they have issues. I do not quite understand an LAX to Rome. Alitalia is in an alliance that includes Delta. I would not think LAX is the place to pick up a bunch of Delta passengers riding on codeshares. But, what do I really know?
And I will echo the comments about Lufthansa and the 2x2x2 business class. It really is not good. I mean, relative to economy it is great. But, compared to other airlines it is not comfy. Not private. I think my feet still hurt from being crammed into a little cubby. #Firstworldproblems

I've had better business class experiences on AA and UA than the Luf. Turkish Airlines has a similar seat as does older United planes. They all suck and need to update their hard product. All this #firstworldproblem talk and now I'd be okay with riding in a mediocre 2x2x2 biz class product just to go somewhere.

I remember flying Southwest to DC for a high school trip.
The peanuts were fantastic. My friend, fresh off his 18th birthday, ordered a gin and tonic without anyone questioning it. Before we landed, we flew into a severe thunderstorm and the cabin lights went out. The veterans of Southwest assured us it was part of the ride.

So anywho... who starts and libero and setter for most of this tournament? Do you think Karch has decided yet?

There is sufficient demand to and from both destinations for airlines based there to turn a profit. So its not the inherent market that is the issue. Its management of the airlines.

So anywho... who starts and libero and setter for most of this tournament? Do you think Karch has decided yet? I bet he'll rotate Carlini, Poulter, and Hancock throughout the weeks so that only 2 out of 3 are playing...I'd assume the first two would start against most of the teams while Hancock comes off the bench/maybe starts against the weaker teams. As for libero...only Karch and the staff know. I hope whoever it is gets consistent playing time.

I hear they play some crazy music when landing.. like Mozart or something. I flown on its rival Easyjet, which was ok. Not much different from taking a bus. Its ok for short flights (i.e. within Western Europe). Longer flights (i.e. to Egypt) though and the small seats with next to no recline will make things a bit...uncomfortable.

I want to see Larson/Plummer/JT combo. That seems dope. Imagine Plummer+Ogbogu blocking Egonu/Boskovic with LibeROBO, Larson, and Carlini digging around it I’m so excited. And I just can’t hide it. prayer circle that Plummer’s passing is at least decent so she gets a solid shot at OH.
