Apparently I jinxed Korea, China's running away with it 11-4 in the fourth. Korea just doesn't have the setting or the firepower to compete with China, even without Zhu.

I'm not too concerned about Turkey. This wasn't their best lineup and it usually takes them a while to get into a tournament. At the CEV Tokyo qualifiers they were not playing well at all until they had to dig deep against Poland in the semis.

I don't know the Chinese team that well... are any of these players starters A team? Zhang Changning (who killed the US during World Cup in 2019). Others likely for Tokyo: setter Yao Di, OH Liu Xiaotong, Opp Liu Yanhan, and the libero whose name escapes me atm Zhang would very likely be a starter. Yao may be the back-up setter at Tokyo. Liu Xiaotong and Liu Yanhan have a bit more of a question mark as to whether they will go to Tokyo. Liu Xiaoting performed very well against Brazil in that quarter-final against Brazil at Rio. But she might be getting on in years and Lang Ping may have second thoughts about her abiltiy to deliver. Liu Yanhan was passed over for Rio although she did win her second World Cup for China in 2019. She might not have that level of consistency and power for Lang Ping to get on the Tokyo roster. As for the liberos, Wang Mengjie appears to be the more preferred player with the higher chance to make it to Tokyo over Lin Li.

USA sweeps DOM.
Looks like Italy gave Poland a solid run for their money in the first set before Poland took it 25-22. Also there's an Aussie commentator doing ITA-POL lol.

This Italy team is not a pushover, they just took the second set off Poland's 'A' team. This could be a battle.
