Also that clip showed why JWO should be the libero. She is the absolute best defender of the team and she gives opportunities for the team to fight back. She can even activate Lowe and that says a lot. That's what you got from her digging a ball hit directly to her backwards and blockers not going up against Lowe on a broken play?

What is it with VT posters stanning liberos for digging the ball backwards? It wasn’t backwards. It was towards the middle of the court (to her right) which is what the USA girls are instructed to do when dealing with those hard-driven balls. As if JWO can’t dig better than that.

When the non-setter set the ball from farther off the net than it was dug, it went backwards. And you seem to admit it wasn't that great - implying she could dig better. That of course leads to the question why this play is being praised and reveals how she must be libero. That was a hard-hit ball, but not a spectacular swing and it went right to her. Those are the hits a libero needs to put up to target so the setter can run transition offense with options. The best part about this play was the serve from Hancock, and Carlini's first touch to get something hittable off of that pass with Lowe nearly running a route through her.

JWO’s touches were better ❤️ Anyway, what I actually meant was that JWO was able to do that but I doubt the other option, Courtney, can.

No one going to comment about how 'into it' Karch was getting on the far left sideline? You'd think he was part of the rally. lol
Another 2 loooong weeks to go. Ugh.

15 players will be training for the Olympics:
S: Malinov, Orro, G.Gennari. OPP: Egonu, Sorokaite(also OH). OH: C.Bosetti, Gennari, Sylla, Pietrini. MB: Danesi, Chirichella, Folie, Fahr. L: De Gennaro, Parrocchiale.
If you exclude G.Gennari, Parrocchiale and one of the middles, here are the 12 players for the Olympics. There will be competition only for the 4 middles, as Chirichella is not even the team's captain anymore, that role was given to Sylla. Surprise...

I understand that but that isn’t the vibe I’m getting from these posts. Saying to not even take Lowe to the VNL from multiple people and that is so dumb lol That's mostly Reach, but then again, his posts are always a little 'edgy'. Ohh please. I’m just being realistic. I’m not sure why a select few are so excited about Lowe still. It’s as if she’s still playing like it’s the 5th set against Serbia in the semis when in reality it’s like she playing the 5th set against USC.

Question: Does Micha jump serving in the USA gym mean that Karch has given up on her and is merely using her serve to practice the other girls? Maybe coach Kiraly has realised her serve can be a great weapon and he's taking her in consideration for a spot.

There is 0 reason to bring Hancock if you don't let her serve. Didn't she set the record of aces for her club in Italy this year?

This rotation 1 with the opposites running all over the court can be messy at times, IMO.

I’m not sure about Annie Drews
