Regarding Serbia: hasn’t rasic been bad lately ? And Stefanovic (sp) is out with a baby right ? Veljković had the baby. Stevanović retired from the NT. Rasić had an off match vs. Imoco in the CL finals. Underestimating her connection with Ognjenović would be a huge mistake. I mix those two up so much. Busa had a good season though this year right? At least better than normal

I’m so excited for Plummer on that left side. If she ends up becoming such an offensive and blocking prowess there throughout the tournament, will Karch remove one of the four OHs most others think are locks for Tokyo? I'm also excited to see Plummer on the left. We haven't gotten to see her face larger competition as of late, so I'm curious to see how her success in Japan translates to the national team.

is there still the option to swap out 6 players? with this roster, do we think that will happen? IMO no. If the 6 subs were to be utilized, I’d expect MBH, Hill, Robo and maybe JT to be there yet, they’re already in the 18, so no.

That is the million dollar question friend. Her passing is going to be key. MBH passed brilliantly during the CL final and she has traditionally been the weakest passer of USA's top 4 OH's. That makes KP's climb even tougher.

I’m happy with the 18-player roster. Honestly, shocked that Adams isn’t there and Tapp is but Tapp might be on to something.

Which picks are you bothered about? I'm not bothered by it. It's a general comment on our rosters. The people we knew that would be on the team made it. Maybe, it's because I know Team USA pipeline from the bottom to the top. I understand that Karch is trying to give them experience before the olympics but he could've put in some younger ones for some fun/spark. That's not Karch. I was hoping he would make an unpredictable roster pick. He put A team. Italy and Serbia somehow thinks it's better to not put them at risk before the olympics and sending their B teams instead.

Hmmm I like the optimism, but Plummer is still an unknown at this point. There's definitely a reason he left Lowe behind for SWP and KP tho. Unless KP's doing her best Larson/Krob impression, this move might be more for Paris than it is for Tokyo. Her chances for a right side spot seem more likely (but still small as of rn). KP is KP tho so I wouldn't be surprised if she has a hot hand and makes Karch double take.

OH: Larson, Plummer OPP: Drews SET: Carlini MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu LIB: JWO Based on the 18 player roster I think this is the strongest team that can be fielded: S: Carlini OPP: Drews OH: Robinson, MBH MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu L: JWO This is honestly very tough to determine for me. The entire roster doesn't really have any glaring weaknesses which is a really awesome position to be in IMO.

Then, her confidence seemed to have taken a dip. What's interesting is that Mihajlović was struggling even more than Busa which does not bode well for Serbia moving forward. Serbia needs to strive to maintain their level from 2018 in order for them to perform as expected at Tokyo.
