Nothing - They are 15-0 in the spring part of the season and before that split with Louisville and Notre Dame. Their only bad weekend was their first weekend in September vs Syracuse. Syracuse sweeping the series, is a very bad weekend. But Syracuse only lost to tournament teams while playing with their two starters, and were without them the whole Spring! Their top two point scorers (6-ro OH and middle-blocker) couldn't get back in the country. No, I don't think the excuse matters and unless Shemanova upped her level I don't think they were making the tournament regardless. But we heard it yesterday in the Pitt win. |
