Syracuse sweeping the series, is a very bad weekend. But Syracuse only lost to tournament teams while playing without two starters! Their top two point scorers (6-ro OH and middle-blocker) couldn't get back in the country. No, I don't think the excuse matters and unless Shemanova upped her level I don't think they were making the tournament regardless. But we heard it yesterday in the Pitt win. Huh Syracuse lost to North Carolina and Virginia Tech? |

My first sentence was a little confusing and I edited it, but those losses this spring came when its two BEST players couldn't get back into the U.S from Russia and play this Spring. They only lost to ND & Louisville (tournament teams) in the Fall. |
