Hopefully Wisconsin can handle the left side heat that Texas is going to bring... I think it’s the angles as much as anything, but you’re point is valid. The reality is when they get heated up there really isn’t an answer

Don’t know how likely this is to work (the Logan plan) because most of the game against Nebraska she was pulled up in the passing except for like 1 rotation, and of course she was passing when she was actually in the back row... Targeting Iosia would be the best bet, Hames was getting the best of her! Short serves disrupts the flow. Even if it's not Logan passing. Serve short to position 4 to cause disruption. I agree, Hames had a lot of success with that serve. Excuse me, the “marginal” Hames.

From what I've from Texas, their passing and serving comes in streaks. For example, in the Nebraska match they made 15 service errors and had eight aces. Most of those errors came in the first two sets, and most of those aces came in sets 3 and 4. Similarly, I think Hames was giving Iosia some trouble with that short cross-court serve (aced her twice in a row I think?) but then Iosia started hand passing it. Wisconsin's going to have to find those passing deficiencies and then exploit them before Texas fixes it.

Hopefully Wisconsin can handle the left side heat that Texas is going to bring... Interestingly, while 2018 was not a good year for them due to nagging injuries, Loberg and Haggerty were a big problem for Texas the last time the two teams met in 2018.

I still have PTSD from the last time we met Wisconsin in a Final Four. And it was also the same year that Washington was in the final four on the other side of the bracket.

Hoping for a great match. Love to see a Muncie connection in the final.

Texas wins if they pass well enough but that isn't really new for them. Wisconsin looks beatable imo. Both leftsides will have to show up for them to have a chance. Rettke will have two big middles on her at all times.

Rettke will have two big middles on her at all times. Texas puts two middles on the court at the same time?

A little surprised the voting is so lopsided (nearly 2 to 1 Texas).
For as talented as the longhorns are, their key pieces have very little postseason experience. I think Wisconsin got through some of their jitters and shaky play and might really be able to relax tonight.
I've got no real dog in this fight, just a hunch.
