So, watching the MPSF Men's tournament right now, and they have high speed cameras for challenges, and it makes it very easy to see things.

Resident ref experts: Has the challenge rule always been the same re: looking at specific things? I thought I remembered hearing that the entire rally would be looked at in years prior. I specifically remember the UCF/UF debacle in 2018. Florida challenged the call, while UCF tried to challenge in response to a different part of the rally, and they were told they were unable to because the refs already looked at it. I have seen two challenges re: the same play this year, so not sure if it changed or when. You can challenge anything in the rally that meets the challenge guidelines, but you have to specify what exactly you're challenging. Like the touch at the end of the rally. Once you specify, you don't get to have the whole rally looked at in hopes of getting a fault called. |

I feel like with terrible passing, Hilley should start forcing to the middle. She spent five months training with the perfect player to teach her that. Just doesn't look comfortable taking any risks at all. Another one! |
