For real though, you are one of the good ones. Most of these announcers can't even get the players names correct and offer little insight into what is happening on court. Glad to have you commentating! |

She’s got great insight but really would be much better in a number 2 role with a good play-by-play commentator carrying the broadcast. (Its not a woman thing either, Burcu Dal is very good in Turkish. Theres a female football commentator who did a great job in the Atletico v Man City match last week) |

i gotta admit i really have a hard time listening to her. She’s got great insight but really would be much better in a number 2 role with a good play-by-play commentator carrying the broadcast. (Its not a woman thing either, Burcu Dal is very good in Turkish. Theres a female football commentator who did a great job in the Atletico v Man City match last week) I believe she got her first commentating gig in 2018 during the VNL finals. She was in more of that support role during that tournament. I believe she jumped into the deep end during the 2021 VNL. The pool of announcers for that tournament was.....something. She'll get there. She's a former player and 2012 Olympian from Britain. I would rather have former coaches and players commentating than some of these goofs they bring in. At least she knows the game and can offer insight. |
