I really would have loved if Ismailoglu got to hit off of Carlini. That would have been huge for THY if they could have landed her. At this point, what other top domestic OH's are still not committed to a team? Pretty sure Ismailoglu signed with Fenerbahce. If Seyma renewed with THY, then the only one left would be Fatma because I think she left Eczacibasi. |

At this point, what other top domestic OH's are still not committed to a team? She's going back to Fenerbahce. Will be interesting what Terzic does... Does Fedorovtseva pass? I don't think there's any but Fatma... but I also don't know any of the young ones. There might be some quality ones in the lower teams. |

THY officially renewed with Carlini and Seyma. Seyma was an important for them.
I still think they need another Turkish OH... and an international middle but idk

According to voleybol mag in Turkey, THY has signed Van Ryk (Canada) meh I knew she was considering THY and Nilufer. She played for Abbondanza for Canada and also briefly at Bergamot. She’s had good coaching with Abbondanza and in Poland and has been improving significantly. She’ll do well, but not Drew’s caliber for sure. And, she is a really nice Canadian. 😊😂 |

I actually think Van Ryk can be a very good transfer. She has a cannon and has destroyed the ball in the TAURON Liga. She needs to be more consistent but she's still very young. The potential is there IMO.

Ecza has gotten better with Maja+Adams
Vakif will be good even without Maja
Fenerbahce is a wildcard with their Russian duo.
THY hasn't really improved, if anything might regress. Not ideal, especially if they have the investment funds.

They need to pass on Meijners and go get Krob. Otherwise they'll get caught in the too many internationals debacle. Van Ryk is pretty much a done deal (according to a more reliable source) + Kingdon + Carlini... that leaves one more foreign spot for game days. |
