I got a notification for that and I totally thought it was a Sun/Stivrins thing.... disappointed again Every time I see new posts in thread I’m hoping for that news too Clearly speculation, but do you think the longer the decision takes to make/announce, that that favors them staying or going? I’d assume if they were leaving, it would be announced by now. And that they’re just working out the kinks of them staying, and that’s what’s taking so long?

I hope you are right, but I would guess that getting the lay of the land on all the international leagues and talking to all the other players that have gone pro might take even longer.

Obviously getting both Stivrins and Sun back this fall brings both proven talent and experience back to try to win a national title. Just a variable in maybe what they might be thinking, at least on the Stivrins end, is she just finished her redshirt fifth year so making a good salary in Europe is very appealing. She seems a good candidate for the Olympic team beyond 2021.

Congrats Hayley and Jazz (Lauren and Lexi graduated in the fall, but this is still such a tease)

Graduation was very windy. Literally “hold on to your hats” stuff. And I have a dopey sunburn line between my cap and my mask.

All good thoughts. I would not think "any" impact, but possibly some. I assume they are acting in their own best interest and if they stay the value of a graduate degree would be a major consideration. Since they both graduated in December, their spring classes may have set that up.

With this delay it almost seems like they are working out the logistics of both Lexi, and Lauren returning.

Both have graduated, both could move on to a pro career any time. That neither has said anything makes me think both are coming back.

As long as we can apply some kind of reverse logic for Rettke and Samedy not staying.
