I'm losing my troll game. This team is good enough to be compared to past champions so I thought it was serious. It was serious. I just know better than to try and make an argument that UK is on the same level or better than past champions on a board full of B1G and PAC homers. I'm just poking a sh*t ton of sensitive bears. Well, do continue then. I'd like to see this Kentucky team against 2013 Penn State.

Lol @ Katie Slay trying to keep up with Lilley's tempo I’m convinced she would just give up if it was an in system pass.

Kentucky looked really good but I'm not sure they faced strong competition. This was the worst year I've seen when it comes to teams from the Big Ten and the pac. It was Kentucky's best shot given how powerhouses like PSU and Stanford have fallen and Texas is "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" lol. Okay. So even when we win the national championship it’s still “SEC sucks. Big ten good” except that now you’re arguing that Kentucky only won because the big ten is bad?? Hm And it wasn't a regular volleyball season so asterisk *.

This team was absolutely championship-caliber in any season. I was referring mostly to the Big Ten and the PAC. Wisconsin was very disappointing given the hype imo and Minnesota hardly looks like #3. I expected more from the top programs of the Big Ten.

I didn't read all the 133 pages but did I miss why Lilley or Stumler isn't staying at Kentucky b/c of new covid rules?

With this talk about Albrecht and Stumler one needs to remember Albrecht only played 6 rotations her senior year and back row the first three years. Watching Lilley dig all those balls reminded me of Hunter and PSU when she had 23 digs in the semi final. Madi Skinner reminded me of another Freshman in 2015 who had a great match against Texas.

Lol @ Katie Slay trying to keep up with Lilley's tempo I’m convinced she would just give up if it was an in system pass. Big part of opponent prep vs teams that go quick is making a pre determined decision on where middles are going to go on great passes. Slay was much better than Kentucky’s M2, an all-American, career .400 hitter who blocked over 1.5 blocks a game. If slay is the weak link, you’re pretty damn good. Micha was one of the all time great competitors in her position, a legit pro Courtney/Deja were pretty damn good lefts and also legit international players, and when Whitney got going was close to unstoppable. They had great talent like Texas but their volleyball was also really good. I dont know that Kentucky beats that team, but I also know it’s a silly argument.

Ah yes All those middles who got beat by UK’s offense this year clearly just forgot to prep You missed the point and also cherry picked one small point. The idea put out there was slay would somehow be lost and in over her head. She as am all-American who averaged 1.58 blocks and hit .400. I think we would have found away to keep her head above water. Nobody is getting pin as a blocker vs Lilley and their passing regardless of foot speed.
