In the last 10 years? They beat them all. Kathryn Plummer would have something to say about that. When Kentucky's offense is clicking, they side out at like 70% or something like that. Even Plummer can't do that. I don't think posters truly appreciate that UK's offense is a machine. The only way to really beat them is to 1) service pressure, which is hard given their passing, or 2) out score them. Different coaches have tried to do what UK did (USA NT, Minnesota), and UK perfected it. I think due to service pressure, the Nebraska teams would pose the biggest threat to UK. Edit: Also, I'm largely trolling here. Just not surprised Stanford fans are chomping at the bit to make these comparisons though.

Stumler was so ridiculously impressive in the tourney. Perhaps she's someone actually worthy of comparison to a young Jordan Larson. I feel like that comparison gets thrown around too easily for some other players. Just cuz a girl can hit more than two shots doesn't make her the next Larson. I mean Jordan Larson never hit .345 on a season And this is coming from the biggest Larson fan on this board

How would this Kentucky team stack up to past ncaa champions? I’d say pretty well. No weaknesses and Lilley ran one of the best offenses I’ve ever seen at the college level. I so wish we had one more year of her. Ugh In the last 10 years? They beat them all. They won a title in an off-year where it wasn't even a real season. Congrats to them but pump the brakes!

I would expect you, of all people, to be able to recognize trolling. My gif man was even making an evil smirk!

Not to mention Lilley who I think might now be the most decorated setter of all time? Is that true? Could be wrong but NPOY, MOP, A ring, SEC POY, south East region POY, and a 4 time all American is hard to beat.

Kentucky looked really good but I'm not sure they faced strong competition. This was the worst year I've seen when it comes to teams from the Big Ten and the pac. It was Kentucky's best shot given how powerhouses like PSU and Stanford have fallen and Texas is "always a bridesmaid, never a bride"

I see no reason to believe the Big Ten was down. This Wisconsin team had tons of hype for being great, until they lost. And this Texas team was an offensive juggernaut AND could pass much better than most Texas teams of the past. It’s bull to imply that the only reason an SEC team won is because of a lack of competition. This team was absolutely championship-caliber in any season.

I just know better than to try and make an argument that UK is on the same level or better than past champions on a board full of B1G and PAC homers. I'm just poking a sh*t ton of sensitive bears.

So even when we win the national championship it’s still “SEC sucks. Big ten good” except that now you’re arguing that Kentucky only won because the big ten is bad?? Hm
