Penn State the worst team of the 6. :/ Actually, with the way Wisconsin flamed out, I wish PSU could've played them at the end of the season. I bet PSU could've taken one of those matches. Neither NE nor WI looked better than PSU vesrsus TX. I also think PSU could've taken one from Nebraska, as well. Im looking forward to this match up. After the Huskers got knocked out, this was the match up I wanted and predicted lol. There’s a lot of good outside play from both teams. But both teams have one weakness/player who won’t make a big impact on offense (unless the game plan is to get them involved) in Goetzinger and Phillips. After watching Kentucky yesterday, they’ll have to pass better. Big Skinner was having a lot of troubles OOS. Texas will certainly have the advantage for OOS play, but it will be limited if the bigger block gets put on Fields. Her hitting style and arm swing are great in system (against PSU and Nebraska) but last night we saw what can happen when she’s OOS against a bigger block that she can’t go over
How big of a block does Kentucky put up compared to Wisconsin?

How big of a block does Kentucky put up compared to Wisconsin?
Madi Skinner can be an absolute shut down blocker. Lilley isn’t going to shut you down but she’s by no means a liability. The middles are fine not spectacular. Avery is a great blocker and Stumler is fine. No liabilities but only 2 really great ones. They get a lot of solid block touches as a team though that give them good chances in transition. |
