Texas is big but I think if Kentucy can go fast and set against the flow they can win. Most of Wisconsins sets were slow and predictable allowing the block to set up. This is fun match up.

Still can't believe that RP team lost in the Finals to Lovejoy, but then again Lovejoy always has studs. Ridge Point actually lost to Flower Mound in the finals that year. That was a stacked RP team- Rutherford, Fields, Claire Jeter (A&M), and Nia McCardell (Rice). Flower Mound also had good talent led by Kaylee Cox (Mizzou), Emily Merrick (Tenn), Abby Butler (Oklahoma), and Angelique Cyr (Arizona St.) Ahh yes. I'm always hoping that the Houston teams will overcome DFW but the club system up there is just too good. Nelson, Plano West, Flower Mound, Lovejoy are always stacked.

Well, the 6A championship was two Houston teams this year

I'm really excited for this match because both teams are so used to winning. Even when these teams lose sets, it's ~usually~ not by a wide point margin. I know Wisconsin was used to winning, but their competition this season wasn't very good and they also had that massive break in play during their season that didn't help them at all. I would be shocked if either of these teams got blown out of the water in this final. Ready for some super athletic play and an exciting match!

Who feels more pressure tomorrow? Texas because it's been a while since they've played for a title and Elliot feels this group is special, or Kentucky who is trying to have another first? I honestly don't know.

Texas will win in 4 sets. 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-17. Spoken with authority like most Hawaii fans. If Hawaii were playing Texas, I'd guess most all if not all Hawaii fans would declare the Bows will win. Maybe I missed it, but don't recall a single Kentucky fan post saying the Wildcats will win.

Only 10 programs have won the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship:
Stanford (9) Penn State (7) Nebraska (5) UCLA (4) USC (3) LBSU (3) Hawaii (3) Texas (2) Pacific (2) Washington (1)
Kentucky's program has been trending up the past couple of years but Texas is too experienced. Add another title for the Longhorns.
