Texas will win in 4 sets. 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 25-17. Spoken with authority like most Hawaii fans. If Hawaii were playing Texas, I'd guess most all if not all Hawaii fans would declare the Bows will win. Maybe I missed it, but don't recall a single Kentucky fan post saying the Wildcats will win. What does that have to do with anything? This is my prediction. Are you new here?

Right because Skylar's stellar performance in the last couple matches couldn't have ANYTHING to do with her being slighted by the committee and playing like she has to prove herself. How could I be so naive Wanting it more and playing with a chip are two different things. To say some team wants it more is blatantly disrespectful to all of the athletes that sacrificed - especially this season - to hopefully win a Natty. Yes, there are only a handful that have a shot at winning it but it doesn’t mean they don’t want it. Every team in this tournament wants it and is extremely motivated but the last two teams are the best this season. They have the talent and athleticism to win it all and have proven it by beating the best. Wanting it more is BS. Skylar could very well be playing with a chip but best believe there is a chip on the shoulders of UK for all of the disrespect they get for playing in the SEC and not playing in the B1G or Pac12. Wait where did I say Kentucky, or any team in this tournament for that matter, doesn't want it?

Only 9 programs have won the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship: Stanford (9) Penn State (7) Nebraska (5) UCLA (4) USC (3) LBSU (3) Hawaii (3) Texas (2) Pacific (2) Kentucky's program has been trending up the past couple of years but Texas is too experienced. Add another title for the Longhorns. Does 2005 not exist?

After thinking about who would win this matchup, I am going with Kentucky. Kentucky's defense, setting, and serve receive will be the difference. The height of Texas will not bother Kentucky as they have played against Florida, who is taller than Texas. When I think back to Texas vs. Oregon in 2012, I guess? I am reminded that Oregon stood no chance with Texas and their "Moon ball" offense. I am going with Kentucky in 4

Texas will win 25-22, 25-20, and 25-0, the last set involving an epic serving run by Iosia wherein Elliot *finally* authorizes her to deploy her atomic-megaton service power leading to massive destruction / tears / 25 points in a row.

Her arm would no longer be attached if this were to actually happen lol😭 we’ll put some tape on it and put her back out there

Hoping for a career night from Stumler ! That’s what UK needs. When someone is slumping, her consistency helps bandage it. We saw what happened last night when she had a brief period where she wasn’t able to get her kills and that luxury wasn’t able to be provided. Luckily she was able to find her groove and help turn things around.

Texas in unbeatable when they pass like they did last night. Periodt Clearly not true considering how poorly Wisconsin played and yet two sets being deuce They still swept em sis. I never said they won't have close matches at the level they're playing, but that they will pull it out every time.

Glad Kentucky just got some practice against a good blocking team. Texas really hasn't faced a team with an OH duo like Stumler and Skinner that also had production from other hitters.
