Nebraska travels to Wisconsin on a Friday, but they come here on a Wednesday. The Badgers get: Iowa twice Illinois twice Indiana once Maryland once Michigan once Michigan State twice Minnesota twice Nebraska twice Northwestern twice Ohio State once (at home) Penn State once (at home) Purdue twice Rutgers once Am I reading that right? Yup.

I followed the link and got the 20-21 spring schedule They've just wiped it off their site. I anticipated that and I'll post an image in a moment.

Here's Wisconsin's conference schedule. They booted it off their site, but I scraped it from them because I literally have no soul

Well, I don't like playing Rutgers and Maryland as a tune up for Minnesota. But I do like being able to go watch them play in New Brunswick. Should be more competitive than in the past. I also like 5 of 6 home matches down the stretch. That Oct 22-30 stretch is tough.

is it just me or does Wisconsin like always have to play the top teams twice? Ok they only get PSU once this time but it always feels like their B10 schedule is always packed.

Having minnesota as a travel partner (always guaranteed x2) doesnt help that. But it seems like they're going away from travel partners? idk

Cross division partners seem to be intact.

All western division teams play western teams twice and only one Eastern division team twice. I don't know that this is true. That would HUGELY skew in Penn State's favor if so. Having to play Minnesota, Wiscy, Illinois & Purdue twice while the PSU plays them once each is not OK.

Now please steal the Badgers' non-conference schedule.

Iowa
Illinois Purdue Minnesota Nebraska Northwestern
Eastern teams played once Indiana Maryland Michigan Ohio St Penn St Rutgers
Michigan St draws the short straw and plays Wisconsin twice.

What is the point of divisions if there is no championship? It would just amplify the problem with uneven schedules. You can't get one scheduled between Nov 27th and the beginning of NCAAs. The only real reason I can figure might be reduced travel costs in a year with low revenue, but I think it's random.
