The listed starters for Rutgers are all the usual suspects from the spring: Kojadniovic, Chitty, McNamara, Maksimova, Balyko, Cieslik, Grkovic.

There are 27 people in the stands watching Illinois/UCSB. Seems like a depressing environment.

I don't like how they set up the volleyball court in that gym in Milwaukee. Why are there only 27 people watching?
It is a depressing environment and that may be weighing on my judgement but Illinois doesn't look as good as I was hoping they would.
If I didn't know it was Illinois, I would be thinking that I was watching Rutgers or Indiana or Maryland.

I think Illinois still pulls this one out. They are the better team but just haven't played like it.
Megan Cooney with 2 kills, 7 errors on 19 swings. -.263

UCSB really choked that sweep away Really? Looked to me like Illinois stepped it up near the end of that 4th set and pretty much stomped them in the 5th set. Any comeback win from being down 1-2 in the first match of the year is a good thing. I'm pretty sure Penn State would have liked to have had a similar finish.
