Probably a good guess. She also runs a mean slide, I hear. I get worried about an opposite constantly running a slide route. It doesn’t allow for a third outlet set and puts more pressure on Hall or Caesar. Hopefully prioritizing blocking is the way to go. We will need to be shutting down pins especially in those two Baylor non-conf games. Edit: I just saw some video of her and she hits well off two feet and took nice swings from all spots on court. A one foot hitter on the right opens a ton of outlet stuff... A slide doesn't have to be a first tempo ball all the time... And with an opp clearing to the right it opens the back row attack for either of their two OHs... #GoGators |

That was where my worry came from. I haven’t seen an oppo do it effectively in D1 in a long time. But Bre is more versatile so it adds a complexity to her offense that could be cool. It’s a nice wrinkle in row 1 instead of having someone run along the net or behind the passers. |
