Moving this OP info to a dated spot to make room for a more generic Gators thread first post: The 8th-seeded Gators took a 2-3 loss to #1 seed Wisconsin in the Elite 8 round of the 48-team NCAA Tournament held in April in Omaha, NE. It was a most unusual season for all with Covid-19 "bubbles," restrictions, and vaccinations. Moving forward Gators have 6 starters returning, are reloading and will most certainly be expecting a return to the tournament this fall. P.S. Thank you, eastcoastopp , for having faithfully created and maintained this thread in the past. We Gator fans surely hope you will continue to bring your valuable insights to this thread. Florida's roster will be unusually small if Cerame, Fischer, and Warner do transfer out. I wonder if they would pick anyone up from the transfer portal.

Haven't heard anything yet, but with such plentiful pickin's, I wouldn't be surprised. 13 on the roster so far isn't terribly skimpy, though. I would imagine a walk-on DS/L might be on the shopping list. |
