There has to be more intel on this match. I’ve never heard of Haylee Stone before. ?? (Sorry I was working all afternoon and missed all of the matches, though it sounds like I didn’t miss much. ) I believe they meant Haylee Stoner, a freshman middle for San Diego who hasn't played a ton this year. |

Guess it was Stoner’s turn on the USD MB carousel. Tried a slide with her twice, which we haven’t seen out of USD much this season - whiffed once, got a kill despite bad timing the second time. Overall, good numbers for her as you can see. Also USD went middle quite a bit more than they have all season, but USFs serve wasn’t particularly potent.

When I was looking at the box scores of the matches for weekly award purposes, I noticed that it looks like San Diego used a 5-1 with Tercariol in both matches instead of a 6-2 with her and Madill. Also, this is it for San Francisco. They have three home matches coming up against the bottom half of the conference with Santa Clara on Friday and then Portland and Gonzaga the following week. If they don't find a way to win one of those, I think they go winless.

At least I was only missing one letter. With the splitting headache I had, I could have easily typed someone from a different team and not realized. Who am I kidding, I could have done that without a splitting headache. I will probably always remember her name correctly in the future. It's taken me most of the season to stop calling Grace Chillingworth, Grace Chillingsworth, so I can use all the help I can get. |
