BYU has also subbed in Llarenas for Gneiting at MB for and Dayton instead of McComber in the back row. Portland takes a TO down 15-23.

Pepperdine is up 2-0 and hitting .243 to Pacific's .090 in the match. Can't believe this won't be a sweep.
First two sets were -15, -19 despite Pacific starting each set strongly.

Why does the Portland announcer sound like he's announcing a match at Smith Fieldhouse rather than in Portland? (He sounds SUPER excited every time BYU gets a kill. Is he just a fan of high level volleyball, and not the typical home court homer?)

Saint Mary's has charged out to an 8-2 lead over LMU in the first set. LMU has been starting matches very poorly recently, and they just seem broken at this point in the season. Whereas Saint Mary's seems to be gaining momentum. |

Gonzaga came back and made the second set respectable towards the end. San Diego wins it 25-16.
Katie Lukes back to her usual stellar play with 15 kills hitting .406. Frohling has 11 hitting .214.

Saint Mary's is now up 19-9 over LMU.
LMU has a 3 match losing streak, including the 5-set match at Gonzaga when Geissberger last
played, and the next two when she did not play. She is not playing today.
SMC up 22-9 now, with LMU hitting .000

While the setting for San Diego seems better this match, Leyla Blackwell is still being criminally underutilized, IMO
