Some states are so loaded with talent that some quality talent gets left out, but could have one if they lived elsewhere. Congrats to all honorees.

It tells you what HS they went to, but it fails to mention what college they will be playing for.

It tells you what HS they went to, but it fails to mention what college they will be playing for. You have to click on the press release for each player and read. Examples: "She has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at the University of Illinois this fall."
"She has made a verbal commitment to play volleyball on scholarship at Northwestern University beginning in the fall of 2022."

When I click the links of the players, all I see are the same pictures of Lexi Sun.

You can never go wrong with pictures of Lexi Sun. Sort of like a BLUE loss in any sport.

I am surprised that they were able to make a choice in CA. We never had a HS season, relatively speaking, with no regional, or state CIF play. Some private schools eeked out a 4 wk season, but with very small pools of schools able to play. Still a big congrats to Ms. Smith =)

Also good point. Some stellar players on not so stellar HS teams lose out to those great players that also happen to be on great HS teams that are loaded with supporting talent. Or in the case this year - the many variables for each state's HS season.
