So disappointed with WKUs schedule the best team they got to play them was Notre Dame? And advertising wake forest as a power 5 team doesn’t feel right lmao

Why is Rice not playing Washington State at that opening tournament?? Just guessing. I don't think Washington State wants to play 2 matches in one day. I think we may see something similar in their schedule on another weekend (when it comes out) where there are 4 teams at a site and Washington State ends up playing just 2 of the 3 teams. Or, it could be Rice that has made that decision? For Rice - adding Washington State as an 11th nonconference match is probably not good for their RPI. As is - they have 10 nonconference matches and 5 guaranteed T75 opponents. Possible that adding WSU could cost them a schedule bonus.

With a lot of the schedules out, I plan on creating my annual Predict your teams regular season record thread in the next few days

But why would Rice want to play South Carolina for example and not Washington State? I would be completely stunned if Washington State is not a T75 team. I recognize that might not be an option though with South Carolina hosting. Which is unique in itself. South Carolina is the 4th best team at the tournament and they get to host it. You very rarely see that
