Northern Iowa destroys Iowa State 8-0, allowing only 1 hit. One of many Non-P5's to knock out P5's today, and possibly more coming.

Oregon is in trouble, but has left so many runners on to give them confidence to come back. Texas State is a good team.

BYU won 7-2 and will face Arizona State in about 45 minutes, with the loser eliminated. That was a pretty fun game to watch.

BYU should be the designated home team in that game. One thing I love about the Regionals and the Super Regionals, you can get the very rare opportunity to walk off on your opponents home field.

PAC-12 not having a great day at all so far. Oregon is down 5-1 to Texas State, Stanford lost 7-1 to the South Dakota St. Jackrabbits, and ASU is in an elimination game with BYU, needing to win three straight to make the Super Regionals.

If any of UofA, Wash, and UCLA go down, they would be major upsets and complete disaster.

I just turned on the Michigan/Seattle game (Michigan leading 1-0) and was amused to see the blizzard of cottonwood seeds.

This is an "every year" thing in the Seattle area. For about a week, it's almost like a daily snowstorm.

Your Gophers are in for a battle! I like both pitchers in that matchup - Hailey Dolcini is a good one from Fresno St, not as high profile as Fiser.

And Moffat-Korth gets the call again. She's thrown nearly every pitch of their first three games so far, with the #3 only pitching 1/3 of an inning. Looking good so far.

Ugh. Technical difficulties. So none of us can actually see BYU go up 2-0 in an elimination game to knock out a top-16 seeded team. How fortunate. ESPN amateur hour broadcasts continue. They had trouble yesterday as well, along with many issues in the Volleyball Tournament, even in the Final Four.

Do you have ESPN News? I'm watching the game on there. There were difficulties there too, so I missed the first run but saw the second.
